WPPI 2010 in Las Vegas
Posted on April 7, 2010

The month of March was jammed-packed with trips, visits from family and friends, birthdays, spring break, etc., etc., etc. Now I have a moment to catch up on my blogging. First I want to talk about WPPI. I love surrounding myself with fellow photographers, talking about photography and learning about photography. This year my focus was all about high school seniors. I have BIG plans…including the launch of a new web site for seniors only (coming soon).
Beth Forester gave a great presentation on senior portrait photography. I became an instant fan of Mike and Cody from Tricoast Photography. They have developed a brilliant technique for photographing in the middle of the day. Great info for those of us who live in sunny climates. The image shown above was taken during a class by Lori Nordstrom. The tricky part is remembering all the great stuff that swirled around my brain during those three days. Good thing I took notes!
